Allergy Testing and Treatment
Allergies aren't fun for anyone, especially if they're persistent and don't clear up in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, many people experience seasonal allergy symptoms for large chunks of the year, from spring until fall, or even longer. Other people experience allergy symptoms around certain foods or other allergens but might not realize that the symptoms they're experiencing are allergy-related.
Fortunately, the allergy specialists at Keystone Physical Medicine are experts at alleviating and treating seasonal and chronic allergies. To properly diagnose and treat allergy symptoms, we rely on allergy tests and treatment plans custom made for each individual patient who walks through our doors.

About Our Allergy Testing
When you visit our clinic in Meridian, Idaho, our skilled allergy specialists will meet with you for an initial consultation. They will discuss your medical history, perform an exam, and evaluate your symptoms. Next, they may perform blood or skin allergy testing to determine the cause of your symptoms. From there, the doctor will prescribe allergy medications along with recommendations for any lifestyle changes you may benefit from to help alleviate your symptoms.
One of our clinic's preferred allergy test is the Alcat Test. The Alcat Test is an immune stimulation test conducted in a lab. During the test, our specialists will test your white blood cells with a variety of different substances, including food, colorings, additives, medicinal herbs, chemicals, molds, and an assortment of pharmaceutical compounds. The way your white blood cells respond to each substance will help identify whether you're allergic to any of them.
Once we determine the root cause of an allergic reaction, you'll meet with our doctors to discuss treatment options to manage or alleviate your symptoms. At Keystone Physical Medicine, we're passionate about offering a holistic and natural approach in our treatment plans. Taking this into consideration, we'll look over your medical history, symptoms, and the results of your Alcat Test to map out a custom treatment plan we believe will be beneficial for your health.
